Soraytec Participates at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi

The Startup Energy Transition initiative by dena (German energy agency) in collaboration with Dubai water and electricity authority (DEWA) brought over 80 finalists from the SET19 top 100 list to Abu Dhabi in order to showcase their innovations. Soraytec participated in all four days of the 24th world energy congress as a result of that.

While the summit naturally had a focus on hydro carbons and policy making. Several ministerial round tables, private and public sector interactions and the launch of the 2019 Trilemma Index also were taking place. Sessions under the topic of energy for prosperity and inclusive prosperity aimed at the developing world during the event. In addition, strong presence and focus on Africa’s booming energy sector completed the program.

The future energy leaders congress and the innovation spotlight where the events which highlighted the need for disruption. The necessity to accelerate the actions on SDGs and the Carbon+ Agenda was part of the discussion as well. Innovation as the only way to achieve the Paris Agreement targets was another interesting topic.

The exhibition allowed Soraytec to meet potential partners and clients from Saudi Arabia, Africa, America and Europe. Soraytec’s smart meter recived great interest for its technical features. Capabilities such as; wave form extraction, dynamic data collection and the intelligent fault detection led to several requests of information.
